We’ve just been away camping at Flanagan’s Reserve in Queensland and with the super Moon still firmly on my mind, I was determined to try and capture the last quarter Moon rising through the trees on top of the rolling hills towards the eastern horizon where we were staying.
Just after midnight I got so excited to see the soft moonlight behind the hills and then the Moon came up through the tree branches…it was just so pretty, I nearly forgot to take the images!
My image was taken with a Canon 70D camera and a Canon 100-400mm lens with a 2x converter attached making a focal length of 1250mm on a tripod. The exposure was 1/30th second and ISO 800.
