InOMN 2013 at Tamborine Village
Saturday 12th October 2013
This is the fourth year I’ve been involved with this wonderful lunar event and our astronomy club the Southern Astronomical Society did a charity event for the Lion’s Club of Tamborine Village in aid of Evolve (Keeping kids on Track) there web site is at: http://www.evolve.org.au/
Our members set up their telescope and had a wonderful night of showing all the families the first quarter Moon and other objects in the night sky…everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening :-)

InOMN 2012 at Kingfisher Bay Resort

For the InOMN event last year I visited the beautiful Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island as part of their ranger education program for their guests and local residents on the island.
My telescope was set up near the boat jetty by the bay and everyone got to see our spectacular Moon through the telescope…it was a wonderful night :-)
