~ Big sunspot AR 4197 now rotating toward western limb of Sun on the 2nd September 2025 ~
 
A geomagnetic storm struck earth today from a CME that struck yesterday, so not sure if it will cause any auroras, please keep an eye on the Spaceweather.com website at https://spaceweather.com/
to see if any astrophotographers captured any pictures of the event :-)
 
These image were captured with a Seestar S50mm telescope and the attached solar filter, 20 images were captured and stacked in RegiStax6 and processed in PS.
